Meet the Guys

Clay Sprouse (43) and Kevin Brock (47) have been entertaining Lakelands audiences since 2007. The acoustic-mandolin duo has established a stellar reputation for conveying a unique bluegrass perspective on genres such as rock, pop, reggae, country, Motown, and jam.

In the early 2000's, Clay and Kevin began "jamming" together in Columbia on football weekends. Those sessions began a music collaboration that has spanned for over 15 years. Clay and Kevin played their first show together in 2007 at Greenwood's famous Sports Break. Until 2010, it was a duo of acoustic guitars. In 2010, Kevin began playing mandolin in the duo and the rest, as they say, is history.

Sprouse and Brock continue to play locally on a regular basis. They have also played in locations such as Abbeville, Greenville, Anderson, Woodruff, Lincolnton, GA, and other locations. Sprouse and Brock also play several private events each year.

Clay Sprouse and Kevin Brock are both natives of Greenwood, SC, and both earned bachelor degrees from the University of South Carolina. Clay is married and has two children. Kevin is married and has one child. Both still live in Greenwood.

In 2016, Jason Arnold (46) joined the ranks of the Jackson Station Band. Jason quickly gained a reputation as the solid beat behind the "rockgrass" sounds of Jackson Station. Also adding vocals and songwriting credits, Jason brings his unique stage presence and energy to every Jackson Station performance. As the son of local drumming legend Ricky Arnold (Magic Band), the beat goes on for this musically-talented family. Jason earned his bachelor degree from Limestone College and is a Greenwood, SC, native. Jason is married and has three children. In his spare time, you can find him boating around Lake Greenwood.
