Jackson Station Bio

Jackson Station was founded in 2014 by Clay Sprouse (acoustic guitar, vocals), Kevin Brock (mandolin), and Brandon Smith (banjo). In 2016, the band was joined by Jason Arnold (drums, percussion). In 2018, the band added Brian Garrett (bass). Jackson Station in its current form includes members Clay Sprouse, Kevin Brock, and Jason Arnold. Jackson Station stays true to the same bluegrass-infused spirit it was founded on, adding crowd favorites ranging from rock, R & B, Motown, jam, and country. In addition, the band has written several originals including the well-known "Asheville Two-Step" and "Palm Sunday".

Named after the iconic music venue in Hodges, SC, Jackson Station has been a favorite amongst local music lovers in Greenwood, SC  for years. The band plays a few dates a year, mostly in the Greenwood area.

A full Jackson Station concert can be found on the Facebook page for "Hometown Hodges" from May 7, 2020, live streamed in the early stages of the COVID pandemic at the historic Abbeville Opera House in Abbeville, SC.
